As I prepare for my fourth semester of teaching Adult Sunday School Apologetics at the church I attend, I am using 'The End of Reason' as the primary text (and have ordered copies for all participants). This is an excellent primer for the Christian wishing to draw a distinction between political issues and issues of moral conscience...without appearing argumentative. Preparing one’s heart & mind for a “soft”, yet “firm” answer isn’t always easy in today’s skeptical world. 'The End of Reason' facilitates the Christian Apologist’s aim of tearing down erroneous scaffolding, while rescuing the unsaved secular target.
